Fulmar Survey

Yesterday we did our first Fulmar Survey of the Season, we covered a few different areas including Kingsgate, Epple Bay, Botany and Joss Bay!

Fulmars are related to an albatross, but look similar to a gull!, the East Kent Coast is a real hot spot for them, we counted a good number of birds on the cliffs other highlights were: A common Buzzard at Botany Bay sitting on a cliff, a few beadlet anemones, a Hummingbird Hawk Moth and some rather cool fossils!
