Back in April of this year, Bird Wise North Kent and East Kent went head to head to see how many bird species we could count on our chosen nature reserves. North Kent were victorious, counting an impressive 77 species at Oare Marshes!

But now, it’s time to bring the trophy back home to East Kent! And we need your help!

We will be back at Pegwell Bay Country Park from 10am till 4pm attempting to spot as many bird species as possible, and we invite you to join us. We have so much in store for you throughout the day to make it a fun-filled family day out!

 We will have spotter sheets, use of binoculars and a telescope along with an army of wildlife enthusiasts available to help with identification, you’re bound to spot a bird you’ve never seen before!
 There will also be a play area, arts and crafts, wildlife scavenger hunt and a nature trail planned to keep the kids entertained.
 And even an off-lead dog area for the furry members of the family!

So, come along and become a part of history as we attempt to beat North Kent and bring the trophy back home!
